Buhari presenting the 2016 budget to NASS
Fact emerged on Tuesday that the 2016 budget presented to the national assembly on December 22, 2015 by President Muhammadu Buhari has disappeared in National Assembly.
A dependable source who pleaded anonymity said that the “missing budget” was the crux of the discussion at Tuesday’s executive session of the Senate, which lasted more than an hour.
“The truth is there is no 2016 budget at the national assembly at present,” he said. “When a package supposedly containing the budget was laid by the president last year, the national assembly received it but did not open it.
