Shooting, stabbing kill 2 in Rivers Gov election violence
Two people have died in election violence that engulfed Akinima, Ahoada West Local goment in Rivers State.
A resident, Ovie Emmanuel told BBC Pidgin that one of the victims stabbed with bottle in the chest by thugs died on the spot while the second person shot in the leg died later in the hospital.
Ahoada West is one of the local governments where Presidential and National Assembly election was inconclusive because of violence that made INEC reschedule supplementary election to hold today.
At Andoni local government, thugs also killed former caretaker chairman, Hon. Emilia Nte.
Resident Hannah Innocent told BBC Pidgin that she was killed yesterday at the boundary between Asarama and Egendem as she was going to her village at Unyada all in Andoni local government.

People earing military uniforms harassed INEC Returning Officers in Rivers State, head of Voter Education and Publicity of INEC in Rivers State told BBC News Pidgin Reporter in Port Harcourt.
Edwin Enabor said delays in result collation was caused because some people wearing military uniform harassed there officials at some local government area collation centres.
INEC has sent some security officials to go verify and release them.
