Sowore rejects Apostle Suleman’s surety offer
Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has rejected a possible offer by President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, to stand surety for the detained activist.
Suleman had in a tweet on Monday said he is of the opinion that Sowore should not be allowed to rot in detention.
However, one of Sowore’s lawyers, Inibehe Effiong, on his Twitter handle said,”Sowore does not need sympathy, certainly not the sympathy of those who feel that he “hurt” them for simply pursuing his convictions.
“If you think that Sowore’s spirit has been broken because of this case, you’re badly mistaken.
Freedom is coming soon. No retreat, no surrender.”
