Nasarawa SSG resigns after State Assembly called for his sack

The secretary to the Nasarawa state government, Alhaji Ahmed Tijani Aliyu has resigned his appointment after the House Assembly demanded for his removal .

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG) has been having a running battle with Nasarawa state legislators over controversial N284.5 million project fund unaccounted for when he was education commissioner.

The lawmakers made the demand after deliberation on a report of an ad hoc committee that investigated the N1 billion released in 2018 for the renovation/fencing of secondary schools in the state.
