Because of the growing insecurity in the country and its attendant joblessness and hunger, Nigerians from all walks of life are finally passing a vote of no confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari and his clannish administration.
The campaign which was initiated by Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and a presidential hopeful in the 2019 election has seen thousands of Nigerians signing up for it.
Recall that yesterday, the presidency raised a sudden alarm that some persons were plotting to convene a national confab during which a vote of no confidence will be passed on President Muhammadu Buhari.
The presidency though was reacting to the report of Department Of State Service’s (DSS) which said that some persons were planning to destabilise the federal government.
Femi Adesina, the Presidential spokesman in a statement said these individuals were now recruiting the leadership of some ethnic groups and politicians around the country.
Moreover, Omoyele who has been one of the critic of Buhari’s regime in a statement said, “This is the time to pass a Vote of No Confidence in Muhammadu Buhari, the most bigoted, nepotistic, tyrannical, corrupt, heartless, insensitive, wicked ruler #BuhariMustGo #RevolutionNow”
However, clerics and other political stakeholders have called for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari over his inability to address the perennial security problem in the country.
