Barring any timely intervention, chaos will burst out at the Auto Spare Parts and Machineries Association (ASPMDA), International Trade Fair Complex, Lagos, as one Chief Daniel Oforkansi and his cohorts have, on 6th January 2020, started digging construction foundation to build shops covering the car parks and loading bays.

ElombahNews was informed that during the traders Annual General Meeting [AGM] held on December 23, Chief Oforkansi was caught on tape boasting to the traders that he has spent some N190 million on the Police, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] and court officials.

Consequently, a group of businessmen, Chukwudi Mmegwa, Chief Victor Amadi, Mr Okwudili Chukwuma and Chief James Onwuagamba, on behalf of themselves and members of ASPMDA, through their lawyers, Enoch Aguocha LP, have approached secular authorities seeking to stop the apparent greed and lawlessness.

In a petition addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of Trade Fair Management Board, Mrs Lucy Ajayi, the businessmen asked the Lagos State authorities to stop the looming anarchy before it goes out or proportion,

The petition was copied to the Inspector General of Police, the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Police Command, the Area Commander Area E Command, Festac Town, Lagos, and the Divisional Police Officer Trade Fair Complex Division, Lagos.

The petitioners requested that the matter be treated as urgent and promised to forward the AGM Meeting as documented as soon as possibly to ElombahNews for publication.

In the meantime, copies of the petitions are hereby attached for ease of reference:
