The United States Embassy in Abuja and Consulate General in Lagos have reopened for visa applications and other businesses.
The embassy had stated on its Facebook page that American Centers located in the Embassy, Abuja, and Consulate General, Lagos, are unfortunately closed.
The, however, assured that they will re-open once the U.S. government shutdown is resolved.
The embassy apologised for any inconvenience caused.
In its latest post late Tuesday, the Embassy Abuja and Consulate General Lagos were announced open for all consular business, including visa interviews.
It enjoined applicants to attend their regularly scheduled interview.
The statement read:
“US Embassy Abuja and Consulate General Lagos remain open for all consular business, including visa interviews. Please attend your regularly scheduled interview.”
