Justice Nwosu Iheme of the Federal Court Of Appeal, Benin City, Edo state was kidnapped by daredevil and violent gunmen in Benin City.
The vicious gunmen killed her police orderly in the process before the abduction.
According to reports, the hoodlums trailed and intercepted her jeep along Benin-Agbor road near Christ Choosen Church.
Eyewitness says that a Toyota Voltron car with four men inside suddenly overtook the Judge’s car where they immediately opened fire , killing the police orderly on the spot.
Thereafter, they shot the tyre of the jeep forcing the driver to stop.
The female judge was hurriedly whisked away to an unknown destination.
The police in Edo State are yet to make any statement just as the kidnappers are yet to make any ransom demand.
Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme of the Benin Division of the Court of Appeal has been abducted on Wednesday morning.
The abduction comes one week after a judge of the Federal High Court, Akure Division in Ondo State, was kidnapped.
Nwosu-Iheme was abducted on her way to court by unknown men.
She is Nigeria’s first female judge to study law up to the Ph.D level of the ‘Law of Intellectual Property’.
