Uproar in Delta as 3 bodies suspectedly killed by Fulani herdsmen found

There is unrest in Oshimili North of Delta State as three dead bodies suspected to be killed by Fulani herdsmen were discovered in the bush between Ugbolu and Illah axis of Oshimili North Local Government Area.

The women were seen protesting at the kings palace with armed policemen all over the palace and the environs.

A Delta State-based social media outlet, Wong Box, in a post titled “Oshimili North bleeds again!“, while confirming the incident, reported:

“Today, three bodies suspected to have been killed by Fulani Herdsmen were discovered in between Ugbolu and Illah axis of Oshimili North LGA.

“The mutilated bodies of the victims could not be immediately identified by the DPO of Illah Police Division and some elders of Ugbolu community when the unfortunate crime scene was visited.

“This is same axis where an attempt was made to kidnap Mr Joe Ikpo of Sterling bank recently and other prominent sons and daughters of Oshimili North were kidnapped.

“This particularly axis has become a flashpoint for Fulani Herdsmen and Kidnappers in executing their evil acts.

“We can now see reasons with the Executive Chairman of the Local Government when he gave marching orders for everyone illegally occupying the bushes in any part of the Local Government to evacuate with immediate effect or face the full wrath of the law.

“We certainly cannot fold our arms and watch our brethren have their lives cut short by evildoers.

“Truly, enough is enough! Even silence has an end!!!!”
