Osinbajo’s visit comes amidst reports that Sanwoolu campaign is in disarray over the performance of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos State chapter in the presidential and national assembly elections that held last Saturday.

Elombah News gathered that the Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu Campaign Organization, BOSCO, desperately campaigns with the picture of a former Governor of Lagos State and current Minister of Power, Works and Housing Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN.

Sanwoolu who defeated Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in the gubernatorial primary of the party by over 920,000 lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, alongside other chieftains of the party in Lagos; such as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo among others.

APC managed to poll 580,000 which is 9 percent of the 6,500,000 registered voters in Lagos: many political analysts are asking where are the 3,000,000 touted party members in Lagos State. Where are the 920,000 party members who voted Sanwoolu in the party’s primary.

So profound was the development that Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Leader of the party in Lagos read riot acts to all party chieftains, that if they lose their polling units or wards in the March 9 gubernatorial and state assembly elections they will have to resign or be sacked in a stakeholders meeting he held this Wednesday.

Distraught party chieftains have responded by using the image of Fashola whom they believed is well loved by Lagosians to sell Sanwoolu candidacy dropping the image of Tinubu whom they adjudged as a political liability.
