Accuse his government of complicityDemand the release of their leaders and elders
Internally Displaced Persons [IDPs] from the Kajuru crisis in Kaduna State that has so far seen the death of hundreds of residents have booed the state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai when he tried to console them and deliver relief materials.
According to our correspondent, Mr. Steven Kefason, the Kajuru IDPs, besides booing El-Rufai and rejecting his relief materials, accused his government of complicity in the killings.
They also demand the release of their leaders and elders held in various detention facilities in the state.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Kefason said:
Am very sure Nigeria will get into the stage where citizens will openly fight back. This IDPs are showing that. Those in charge have failed the citizens. Its time we react, @elrufai thinks throwing food at the people will solve the problem. Now we gradually rejecting govt gift https://t.co/4VDN55uYCb
