We raped, stole her money, killed her, buried her, sold her body parts — 17y.o tells Police
A 17 year old Okada rider, Onoriode Akpoavirhi, has confessed to security personnel how he and his collaborator, one Akpoghene Shoemaker, raped a trader one Patience Komone, stole her money, killed and buried her.
Akpoavirhi also told the police that they harvested some of her body parts which they sold to one Lucky Daniel for ritual.
According to him, the Lucky Daniel paid them N100,000 for the job.
He narrates: ‘After taking her (Patience Komone, a trader) to the farm, I killed her with one Akpoghene Shoemaker, and carted away some of her valuables, including the money with her and left.
‘We raped her and robbed her of N40,000 before killing her.
‘We, also removed her eyes and private part for ritual. A man, Lucky Daniel of Ohoro town, had contracted us to bring the body parts for him after paying us N100,000’.
50 years old Patience was declared missing by her family on August 2 after travelling to a community market in Ughelli South council area of Delta state to trade.
Her decomposing body was later found in a bush following the confession by Akpoavirhi.
The Delta State Police Command said investigation has begun and has declared a manhunt for the shoe maker who, it said, is on the run.
