In a tweet on its Twitter handle on Friday, SERAP explained that Nigerians, all over the country, are opposing secrecy in asset declarations by public officials because open asset declaration is a tool to fight grand corruption, abuse of power, expose leaders living beyond their means, and hold them to account.

SERAP specifically demanded property and income contained in the asset declaration forms submitted to the CCB since assuming office.
